  2. Hello to All visiting my site
From time to time I'll post my views on different issues and comments from my meet and greets.
Yesterday I had my first meet & greet. About 12 people were there and we had very interactive conversations. As I have stated, my campaign isn't about me-- it's about what I can do for the people of Chatham -- what we can do together. The main issues discussed were affordable housing, the year round residential tax break, town meeting voting, and water. It will be interesting to hear what other issues will be brought up at future meet & greets. Stay tuned....

  3. Let's talk about....
Affordable Housing-- There's no doubt that Chatham needs afforable, attainable housing. But let's do it right. To date, major decisions have been made by only a few elected officials who ignored voter input. I have led the challenge to this approach and called for public input and insistence that the community has more of a voice in the decision making, and that Chatham deserves affordable housing welcoming to our young families, new residents, seniors and workers. Let's push for more attainable housing instead of rentals. Welcome families into our community not only renters.

  4. Warrant Article 60
To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter 261, Water Supply Emergencies, of its Bylaw, in Section 261-3 Definitions, by adding the words "and users of private wells drawing water from the same aquifer from which the Town's public water system is withdrawn" so that the Section will read as follows..
Water users or water consumers -- all public and private users of the Town's public water system and users of private wells, drawing from the same aquifer from which the Town's public water system is withdrawn irrespective of any person's responsibility for billing purposes for water used at any particular facility." I support this article.
